VISIT Redefines the Guest Journey by Merging Hotels and Attractions in One Booking Flow
Gothenburg, December 2, 2025
VISIT is introducing new capabilities within its platform that bring hotels and attractions closer together. By enhancing the connectivity between two of VISIT’s own products – BookVisit, the leading direct booking platform in the Nordics, and iTicket, VISIT’s flexible ticketing system for tours and attractions – hotels can now offer guests a more unified way to book accommodation and partner attractions in one digital flow.
“For guests, this means a completely seamless experience – accommodation and tickets are booked in one flow, everything is prepaid and ready upon arrival. No paper vouchers, no extra steps, just a frictionless journey from booking to experience.”
– Glenn Cedströmer, Product Owner, BookVisit
A Win-Win for Hotels and Experience Providers
With this new functionality, hotels can:
- Strengthen their role in the destination by offering both accommodation and local experiences in one connected journey.
- Create complete stay-and-experience packages that increase conversion.
- Provide guests with a seamless digital booking flow – no phone calls, no manual handling, no vouchers.
- Offer attraction tickets as add-ons to drive additional revenue per booking.
- Reduce administrative work through real-time synchronization of availability, bookings, and changes across systems.
For attraction operators, the new capability opens up new sales and distribution channels through local hotels’ booking flows – strengthening local collaboration within destinations and helping partners reach guests earlier in the planning phase.
“We are extremely satisfied with the solution. It’s truly a game changer for us – like a kinder egg with all the smart solutions in one product!”
– Siri Brevik, Total Revenue Manager, Hasselbacken/Cirkus Venues
Part of a Growing and Fully Connected Platform
With this new advancement, VISIT takes another step toward its long-term vision of building a fully connected platform that supports the entire guest journey. BookVisit and iTicket are both core VISIT products, and by strengthening the connection between them – alongside our wider ecosystem of integrations spanning PMS providers, channel managers, revenue managers, table booking systems, spa systems, and activity management – this development reinforces BookVisit as an open and extensible platform.
By bringing more systems together and simplifying daily workflows for both staff and guests, we reduce complexity, save time, and enable smarter decision-making. This strengthened connection between BookVisit and iTicket is another example of how BookVisit is evolving into the central hospitality hub, where essential functions come together – allowing our customers to focus on what truly matters: delivering exceptional guest experiences.
“Our mission is to create a platform where destinations can grow together. Hotels and experience providers share the same guests – we simply make it easier for them to collaborate and deliver a unified guest journey.”
– Carl-Johan Holmén, Chief Commercial Officer, VISIT
Easy to Get Started
For BookVisit properties, adding tickets from an iTicket attraction is simple. You only need a commercial agreement with the attraction you want to resell. Once that’s in place, the attraction sets up a channel to the property, allowing the hotel to pick up the ticket products on their side and offer them just like any other add-on in their booking flow. All data and inventory stay fully in real time, ensuring accurate availability for both sides.
